Provides links to United Nations agencies and mission whose aim is preventing nuclear proliferation, nuclear testing, ensuring safe nuclear power plants.

UNVIE works with these international organizations in support of the President's goal of making the world both safer and better. In particular, UNVIE seeks to strengthen international efforts to
- Prevent the spread of nuclear and other dangerous weapons and technologies
- Combat terrorism, narcotics trafficking, and international crime and corruption
- Promote free trade and investment, sustainable development, and the peaceful use of nuclear power
