The United States at the 66th IAEA General Conference, September 2022

 

The IAEA General Conference, consisting of representatives of the IAEA Member States, will hold their annual meeting this week to consider and approve the IAEA’s budget and decide on other issues raised by the Board of Governors, the Director General, and Member States.

Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm will lead the U.S. delegation to this year’s conference. She will be joined by Nuclear Regulatory Commission Chair Christopher Hanson, U.S. Department of Energy Under Secretary for Nuclear Security and Administrator of the National Nuclear Security Administration Jill Hruby, and U.S. Department of State Under Secretary for Arms Control and International Security Bonnie Jenkins.
