The United States at the 2022 Session of the UN Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space

From Wednesday, June 1, to Friday, June 10, the United States will join delegations from around the globe to discuss numerous aspects of outer space activity and promote international cooperation in space at the 65th session of the UN Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (COPUOS).

COPUOS is the only standing body of the United Nations concerned exclusively with the peaceful uses of outer space. Over its more than sixty-year history, COPUOS has been extremely successful in fostering international cooperation in the exploration and use of outer space for the benefit of all humanity.

This year, COPUOS will meet virtually and in Vienna, Austria.
